Does your office accept my dental insurance?
Our office accepts most all dental insurance plans. We Do Not "participate", meaning we don't work for the insurance company. We will complete and submit the insurance claim for each patient. Some insurance plans will pay our office and you will be billed only for any difference.If your insurance company will only pay you (the subscriber), then our office will require payment at the time of service. Once the claim is processed, your insurance company will then reimburse you.
We have several options for payment including, Cash, Check, Debit, or Credit Card. We have no payment plan, but are able to offer CARECREDIT to our patients. Under this program you may be able to receive credit for services at 0% interest for up to 6 months. You may contact our office for more information or click on the CareCredit link.
Does Medicare cover my visit to your office?
Medicare provides coverage for services provided by your medical doctor and does not provide coverage for routine dental services.
How old should my child be for a first visit?
According to the American Dental Association, children should be seen when the first tooth arrives. Most importantly, the first appointment is to educate the parent about diet and care of the teeth. We encourage parents to bring their children to watch at an early age! A thorough exam and cleaning can usually be completed by age 2 or 3.It has been a long time since I have been to the dentist, what will your office do at my first visit?
We address your individual needs after a thorough exam has been performed including the appropriate X-rays and screenings for gum disease and oral cancer. Your personalized treatment plan will be devised based upon our findings. Dr Zeger will then consult with you on the best way to proceed with the treatment.Do you need my old records from my previous dentist?
Any current X-rays are very helpful, keep in mind most dental offices need patients to sign a release before records are given.Can all services be provided on the same day as my initial visit?
Preventive services are normally completed at the time of your appointment. Other services may require time to complete due to variations in each individual's needs.
